Closed Group courses are highly specialised and are developed and delivered in response to requests from our clients. We have taught English to meet the specific language needs of groups such as: bankers, technical personnel, journalists, military personnel and power industry workers.

PON Programmes
We are always delighted to welcome PON groups to EiY in the historic, northern city of York!
We can provide a flexible range of courses and activity programmes to suit specific requirements. We can help learners prepare for approved exams: Cambridge First and Advanced, and Trinity’s Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) or Integrated Skills Exam (ISE). All students are hosted in local homestay accommodation in order to maximise language learning throughout their stay.
We welcome students aged 16+.
Students must take an approved English exam, either in York at the end of their course, or upon returning home to Italy. At EiY students can sit for the Trinity exams. Cambridge exams are held throughout the year at designated centres across Italy.
