English in York - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

 

Accommodation:

 

Host family accommodation costs £98.00 or €145.00 per week.

Host family accommodation provides breakfast and evening meal Monday to Friday and breakfast, lunch and evening meal at weekends, (packed lunch on weekend days can be requested). Accommodation is in single bedrooms unless otherwise requested. Basic laundry is included.

 

Host family accommodation is available from the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) before the start of the course. Students must leave their family accommodation when the course has finished.

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

Course fees at English in York include the following services:

·         All course materials

·         All social / welfare administration

·         Full use of lounge and recreational facilities

·         A minimum of 1 mid-week and 1 weekend day social activity per week (accompanied but not including cost of transport, tickets etc.)

·         Certificate of attendance

 

Cancellation or Curtailment:

 

A full 4 week period of notice is required for cancellation or curtailment of a course.

No fees can be refunded without 4 weeks notice.

Insurance:

 

Students should arrange their own insurance to cover medical treatment and loss of personal possessions, and to provide cover against the loss of fees in case there is a need to cancel the course. We recommend an online insurer at http://www.course-u-can.com) who provide specific insurance for language course students.

 

Payment:

 

Payment is required before the start of the course. Please choose one of the following methods:

How to register:

 

Please complete the Booking Form online or fill in the form on paper and return it to us with the sum of £100.00 (consisting of £50.00 registration fee and a deposit of £50.00 which will be credited towards your course fees.)

This amount is not refundable if you cancel your course, unless you give us four full weeks notice of cancellation.
